Bus-Truck Collision Kills 8 In China


Beijing: At least eight people have been killed and 32 others injured when a bus collided with a truck in China’s north Inner Mongolia autonomous region, officials said on Sunday.

The accident took place late yesterday in Yakeshi city, administered by Hulunbuir city, the government of Hulunbuir said in a statement.

The truck was trying to avoid a horse that dashed onto the road when the collision happened, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

Further investigations were under way.
