Earlier, Gujarat Lions were restricted to 153 for 9 with Ishan Kishan contributing 48 ffo 35 balls. Ravindra Jadeja (28), Andrew Tye (25) and James Faulkner (21) were the other contributors. Krunal Pandya (3/14 in 4 overs) was the pick of the bowlers while Lasith Malinga (2/33) and Harbhajan Singh (1/23) also bowled brilliantly.
However, the match belonged to Jasprit Bumrah to bowl like that with only 11 to defend, he conceded only six. He came to the fore with his exceptional yorkers and variations and put in a superb display. The away side can rejoice as they’ve won this match in some style.

Phenomenal last over. Gujarat Lions had their moments but were denied by one of the best bowled last overs you will see. #Bumrah

Bumrah bowling the Super Over ahead of Malinga. That’s #IPL coming of age…baton has been passed on officially. Performance over reputation
