Brigade Rally: Howrah Busy Since Morning


Howrah: People are coming to the Brigade Parade ground from Saturday morning. As a result, huge number of people are present at the Howrah station. People from different parts of the state are coming by trains to Howrah. Then from there, they are going to the brigade. Either some are going by foot, some using launch or using NH 2 through buses. Those coming from Burdwan’s Pous Gram are playing ‘dhamsha madol’ musical instruments at Howrah and moving towards Brigade. For the occasion of Brigade, the number of launches have been increased, police security heightened. In the morning, vehicles were less, but as the day proceeded, vehicles increased. The rally from Howrah moved through Brabourne road, Ravindra Sarani, Dorina crossing and to Brigade. Those workers who came from Howrah’s Shyamgarden, foods have been prepared from them.

Minister Aroop Roy said that the camp which is at Howrah station, that is the main camp. Followers have come using buses and train. Other camps are at 1 at Second Hoogly bridge toll plaza, 3 at North Howrah, 3 at Salkia, 1 below Howrah flyover and 4 at Kona expressway.
