Kolkata: A brewing cyclone may bring rain in Bengal. Areas of South Bengal like Purulia, Bankura, Birbhum, East & West Burdwan, Murshidabad districts of Gangetic
West Bengal may get low range rainfall.
The Alipore Met office has informed that low range rainfall has been forecast between Monday to Tuesday in the South Bengal region.
According to the Met office a cyclone has formed in the Southern Assam and areas in vicinity. Cyclonic circulation is also predicted. Due to this the sky will be partly cloudy. Last year November also we have experienced a cyclonic rain in the state, but no change in temperature was noticed due to that sudden rainfall. Similarly, this time also there will be no change in temperature, cleared the Met office.
As per report winter has already bade adieu from the state last week. The cyclonic storm and rain has been predicted only in South Bengal region. This sudden rain in the state can hugely affect the crops. According to the farmers in the early winter many crops were damaged and the farmers had to go through huge loss due to sudden cyclonic rains. They are now worried if this rain may also bring pain for them again.
