New Delhi: The CBSE announced it will not conduct re-examination for the Class 10 maths paper which was leaked last month.
The decision applies to test-takers in Delhi-NCR and Haryana, the regions where the leak reportedly took place. Retest for Class 12 economics paper will take place as scheduled on April 25.
The CBSE today to not hold a re-examination for the Class 10 mathematics course even though the question paper for the earlier test was leaked.
This decision holds good even for test-takers in Delhi-NCR and Haryana, the two regions where the leak reportedly took place. The CBSE on 28 March had announced re-examination of the said subjects in the wake of reports claiming paper leaks.
The Delhi Police is currently probing the alleged paper leak in the Class 12 economics exam, after filing an FIR with respect to the case.
Following the leaks of economics and maths question papers, the CBSE had announced that the examination centres would henceforth receive an encrypted copy of the question papers on e-mail and they would need to download and print themselves.
