Kolkata: Two businessmen shot fired in broad daylight at Belghoria. The exact place of the incident is Naodapara of Barrackpore Police Commisionerate area. Mobs in bike targeted the businessmen in a crowded place. Both are promoters.
Both are seriously injured. Their name is Ranjit Shingh, owner of a brick factory and another person is Gouranga Guha, constructional businessman.
They have been critically injured. Both have been admitted to a local nursing home.
Police is investigating the incident as it is alleged with business rivalry.
According to local sources, Gouranga Guha was sitting in a cement-sand shop in Naodapara area which comes under Kamarhatati’s 8th ward. He was accompanied by Ranjit Singh, a brick factory owner. Both of them were conversing among them.
Four mobs suddenly attacked on them. Refusing to pay money, the miscreants fired. Gouranga Guha has shot in leg and Ranjit Shingh was shot in the stomach. Once the local people gathered, mobs have blasted bomb in front of the shop. Panic spread in the area.
