Brazilian Arrested With Cocaine At Mumbai Airport


Mumbai: A Brazilian was arrested by by the CISF at the Mumbai airport for allegedly
smuggling in cocaine-filled capsules worth Rs 2.5 crore by putting them in talcum
powder boxes.

F Nascimen, the Brazilian, arrived in Mumbai from Addis Ababam on Saturday. He was
intercepted on the basis of suspicion. He was on his way to Delhi.

A senior official said that a total of 457 grams of cocaine, neatly stuffed in capsules, and concealed in the powder boxes were recovered.

The man and the drugs, estimated to be worth Rs 2.5 crore, was handed over to anti-narcotics authorities for further legal action.
