New Delhi: A Bangkok bound Turkish Airlines plane was redirected to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport after a bomb scare was sounded in the aircraft. According to the airport officials, the aircraft was heading to Bangkok from Istanbul. Following the panic in the mid-air the plane was rushed to New Delhi calling for an emergency landing. The NSG has rushed to the spot along with other security officials. An alert has also been declared in the airport premises by the AAI.
The flight was carrying 148 passengers on board. They have all been evacuated without any problem. As per latest news, no explosives have been discovered or found in the aircraft. The luggage of the passengers of the aircraft are being put under scanner and checked thoroughly by the security personnel. However, nothing threatening was found in the plane and the aircraft officials said that it was a prank played by a passenger.
