Bomb Scare on New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express

New Delhi: The Indian Railway officials had to call an emergency stop of the New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express on Friday afternoon at the Sahibabad station after they received a phone call informing them about an explosive on board.

“The call was received at 2:15 pm by the the Railway Protection Force (RPF).  After that we informed other station officials and the train was stopped at the Sahibabad Station at 2.35 pm,” Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) for Indian Railways told media.

“A proper inspection of the train is being done by the officials and Bomb squad and the train will move after getting a clearance from the search team,” he added.
