Digha: Ignoring warnings from the authorities, a boat which went into the stormy
sea and was missing, has been recovered from Maiti Ghat under the Digha police
station.Fishing nets along with other fishing equipments were also found along with
Ma Mangala, the boat.
OC Basukinath Banerjee of Digha police station said, “We received missing
complaints of some boats. One among the missing boats have been found. But the
identity of the owner of the boat is yet to be found. We are trying to find out t
he identity. But until and unless the sea comes to a normal state, the fishermen
have been warned against going out to the sea for fishing.”
On the other hand, bodies of three fishermen, who went missing from Odisha’s
Kirniyat, were afloat at Dadanpatrabar, Chadpur and Jaldha under the Mandarmani
coastal police station. They are aged in between 40-45 years.
On Sunday, heavy winds had broke the logo of the Viswa Bangla. Recovery of bodies
have already spread chaos among the locals.
