Kolkata: Three policemen were injured while defusing a bomb in West Bengal’s Sonarpur on Tuesday, said police. The cops went to South 24 Parganas Sonarpur area after receiving report of a clash between CPM and TMC activist and recovered the bombs.
As bomb squad rushed in and personnel tried to defuse the device, the bomb went off injuring three cop including a ASI. The injured police personnel have been rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Hours ago, CPM leader Rajiv Biswas’s house has allegedly been ransacked by TMC activists. Mr Biswas fought the polls from Beliaghata seats and lost to TMC’s Paresh Paul.
