New Delhi: BlackBerry has launched its Classic smartphone in India at a price of Rs 31,990. The phone is available in India from today.
The BlackBerry Classic has a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 8 megapixel rear camera, 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), and BlackBerry 10 OS.
BlackBerry is returning to its roots with the Classic phone that features a traditional keyboard at a time when rival Apple and Android phones – and most smartphone customers – have embraced touch screens.
The new phone is mainly directed towards the business users. According to a section of the Blackberry user, the physical keyboard is something traditional and they find it easier than touch screens to type with. The company is also emphasizing on battery life and security.
