Canning: The West Bengal BJP today said the party will effect a change in Bengal, much like it did in Tripura. The West Bengal BJP president was addressing party workers in Aamtala in South 24 Parganas district.
“The BJP will bring a similar change in Bengal. When some BJP supporters were killed in Tripura, people changed their mandate. Here also, many more of our supporters have been killed and injured, the mandate will be changed,” West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh told reporters.
West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh claimed on Saturday that the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is in pain for Tripura. He further claimed that the party is emerging as an alternative to the ruling TMC in the state as the Congress and the CPI(M) have failed to put up a resistance against the misrule of the ruling party.
The Saffron party said that it will bring about a similar change in West Bengal in the near future. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday ended 25 years of uninterrupted rule of the CPIM-led Left Front in Tripura.
Dilip Ghosh claimed that Mamata banerjee is feeling low for Tripura result. He claimed that TMC after returning to power in 2016, lost control over the administration, unions and its local leaders. There are violent clashes in various educational institutions in the state, he said adding “TMC workers are now fighting each other over money, soon they will fight for election tickets.
“When some BJP supporters were killed in Tripura, people changed the mandate in that state. In Bengal, many more of our supporters have been killed and injured, and their properties destroyed. BJP will bring a similar change in this state,” West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh told a press conference here.
Ghosh said “nepotism, corruption and political violence” is rampant in the state, and there is no place for violence in politics.
