Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has gone high-tech to draw voters support for the Assembly elections in the state. The party launched high-tech campaign in support of Aditya Tandon, fighting the polls from Cossipore-Belgachia assembly seat.
BJP’s IT cell has initiated maximum use of the social media to garner support for Mr. Tandon. They have flooded Facebook, WhatsApp and other social networking site to promote the candidate and party’s poll agenda among the voters.
Meanwhile, five telecallers have been stationed in the area and join BJP through missed call campaign has also been underway. The list of missed calls has been forwarded to the state BJP office from the party headquarters in Delhi, said officials.
On the other hand, BJP candidate Aditya Tandon has said that he will prefer to work among the people and his main focus will be to solve a number of problems persisting in the area.
Mr. Tandon also said that his primary focus will be to ensure safety for the women and to generate employment for the youths.
