New Delhi: The BJP has taken a dig at the planned 'veg' dinner meeting between West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday, calling them “anarchist chief ministers”. Mamata Banerjee had arrived at Delhi last evening and visited the Parliament on Tuesday. She will sit for a meeting with PM Modi on Wednesday to discuss flood relief. According to sources, Mamata might also drop in for a dinner with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal later in the night.
Tonight, Kejriwal will meet Banerjee at the residence of her nephew and parliamentarian Abhishek Banerjee. Sources say the menu is likely to be vegetarian, in honour of Kejriwal. Officials say it is a "courtesy meeting". But the dinner has generated buzz as Mamata Banerjee has backed Kejriwal in his power battle with the central government.
