BJP calls for state wide bandh on April 30

Kolkata: The Bhartiya Janata Party has called for a state wide 12 hours bandh on April 30 protesting massive rigging and violence in the municipal polls across the state.

Earlier the CPM had also called a strike on the same day protesting violence and terror by the ruling Trinamool during the municipal polls in the state.

The municipal poll in the state saw terror unleashed across the state by the ryling Trinamool goons targeting the opposition. Political circle is ripe with speculation of a Left-BJP pact to bolster their attempt to corner the Trinamool government in the state.
