New Delhi: Veteran actor Biswajit Chatterjee after making a documentary and a TV serial on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, he will now direct a film based on the life of the freedom fighter.

Biswajit, 78, said through this film, people will finally get to know many more aspects about Bose, his life and his contribution towards the country, which have not been depicted properly in earlier movies.

“We have done complete research and we will mainly focus during the period from 1942 to 1945. We have got a lot of support from his party All India Forward Bloc. It is time to make a film on Netaji which shows him in the right light. So far whatever films have been made on him have not done justice to him. They have not shown the real side. He has made immense contribution to our country,”  said Biswajit.
