Biman Basu Surrenders in Metropolitan court


Kolkata: Five leaders including Front chairman Biman Basu, Manab Bandhopadhay, Mohammad Salim surrenders in Banshall court today morning for their illegal gathering case at Bentik Road. However, they were released soon by a signing a personal bond of Rs. 2000.

These leftist leaders have been gathering illegally at Bentinck Street without police permission in August 2014, said the police. That action resulted in full traffic disruption. The police have filed a case with eligible bail order against these five leaders. Henceforth, today they surrendered in the city metropolitan court.
