Kolkata: Biman Banerjee has been unanimously elected as the speaker of the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.
On Tuesday at the Assembly meet, Biman Banerjee’s name was put forward by Partha Chatterjee along with 7 other MLAs. The opposition did not put forward any other name and hence he was unanimously elected as the speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
