Kolkata: TMC and Left front already announced their candidate name for Jadavpur constituency. BJP yet to announce their candidate name but political think tank predicted that Bengal likely to see a battle that whom snatched the Jadavpur. Already Jomi, Jibika, Poribesh O Bastutantra Raksha Committee supported Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya and for that the election battle will get stronger.
On Wednesday, the CPI (ML) Red Star and Jomi, Jibika, Poribesh O Bastutantra Raksha Committee held a press conference where Alik Chakraborty, said that their party is not giving any candidates in Jadavpur Lok Sabha constituency. They will support former mayor and left front candidate Bikash Ranjan Bhattachrya. They will campaign for the left candidate in that center. However, CPI (ML) Red Star will compete separately in six seats in the state.
Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya, the left candidate of the Jadavpur Lok Sabha constituency, told Kolkata 24 × 7 that the Jomi, Jibika, Poribesh O Bastutantra Raksha Committee has supported me. This is a positive side. Last time Arabul did not let the vote by showing guns at Bhangor. If this happens again, then the people of the Bhangor will protest. I have always been beside the struggle of Bhangor people.
The Trinamool Congress won the last Lok Sabha elections at Jadavpur, with the largest minority vote. But now the committee support Bikash Ranjan Bhattachrya so, this time a battle may see between TMC and left front in this constituency.
