Patna: The Bihar debacle has hit BJP hard as internal strife broke out between the party. As BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha met and congratulated Grand Alliance leaders Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav after their big victory in Bihar elections, party General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya compared the actor-turned-politician’s act with that of a dog chasing a car.

“Dog runs behind the car feeling it’s running because of him, but it’s not. The party doesn’t run because of one man,” said Vijayvargiya when questioned about Sinha praising Nitish Kumar.

Vijayvargiya, recently made headlines after tweeted that Shah Rukh Khan lives in India but his soul is in Pakistan. However, after facing flak from all quarters, the BJP MP had deleted his tweet.

Earlier in the day, Shatrughan Sinha said those responsible for the BJP’s debacle in Bihar should be taken to task and responsibility fixed for the loss.

Heaping praises on Kumar, he said he was a “tried, tested and successful” chief minister. He later also met RJD chief Lalu Prasad and congratulated him.
