New Delhi: Best Death bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar will now have to start a new spell. The pacer from Uttar Pradesh has decided to tie the knot with his fiancee Nupur Nagar in a private ceremony in Meerut on November 23. This will be followed by two reception dinners – one on November 26 in Bulandshahr and the other on November 30 in Delhi. Bhuvneshwar’s father Kiran Pal Singh had told that the family was looking for a 10-day window for the wedding and was hoping to have it in Meerut itself.
Kiran Pal Singh said, “The wedding will take place in Meerut and it will be attended by family and close friends. But we want Bhuvneshwar’s teammates and members of the Board to also take part in celebrations, which is why we will have a reception in Delhi for them. We are sure everybody will attend it because the entire team will be in Delhi from November 30 for the Sri Lanka series.”
Bhuvneshwar and Nupur will get married in a private ceremony attended only by family and friends at a Meerut resort on November 23. Three days later – on November 26, there will be a reception in Bulandshahr, where Bhuvneshwar’s extended family resides. Finally, on November 30, Bhuvi will host a reception at a Delhi hotel which will be likely attended by his teammates, including Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Suresh Raina. Officials from Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India are also expected to attend the reception.
