Kolkata: In another audio clip on Sunday the former IPS officer Bharati Ghosh has said that she will appeal to the Calcutta High Court that within a month complete investigation of her assets and banking account details to be done by the enforcement directorate. The CID West Bengal has earlier started a case of disproportionate assets against Bharati Ghosh in Kotwali police station West Midnapore in West Bengal.
In her audio clip she said that “I have requested my lawyer to put in prayer to the honorable High Court for investigation By Enforcement Directorate regarding all my assets. Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax should come in the picture and should investigate all my assets.”
Bharati claimed that CID allegedly has been initiating false cases from 1st February 2018 and they are doing this on the specific directions of the ruling party.
“The intention is to prevent me from speaking the truth, from opening my mouth and to prevent me from joining any political party.,” she said. Pointing at the ruling party Bharati also added that, “The intentions are very clear if the money is found in the house of somebody they are putting it on me….” Bharati calls it a well planned ‘sinister conspiracy’ on the part of the ruling party.
With all her willpower she is determined to fightback now, this was clear from her audio clip. She further added “But I’ll fight this in the honorable court and I’ll myself ask for investigation by the Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax department of India into my entire assets and all my bank accounts and every penny I have got.”
“And in case it is found I’m clean the ruling party should issue official apology,” she concludes.
