On this Independence day, Bengal’s another brave heart, Subir Kumar Gangopadhaya, CRPF’s second in Command, posted in Kharagpur’s 167 BN will be felicitated with presidential award as the recognition of his bravery and work in the army.

Subir Kumar Ganguly passed B.Sc from Bankura’s Sammilani College and after that he served for the nation near about thirty years. He served his duty with valour in also Maoist stronghold Chattishgarh.

He will receive “President of Medal for Meritorious Service” from President Ramnath Kovind. CRPF on Tuesday issued notice on this.

The wife of Subir Kumar Gangapadhaya, Kakoli Gangopadhaya said from that we are really wait for this day. he is always served his duty above the family. We really proud for him. The family of the brave heart lived in Kolkata’s Lalbazar depot.
