Kolkata: Bengal had to settle for three points against Jammu and Kashmir in their Ranji Trophy match at Eden Gardens. At the end of 5 matches Laxmi Ratan Shukla led Bengal stands at ten points in Group A.

They are placed sixth at the points table. Wriddhiman Saha who was at the centre of spot light in the first innings, could only manage 8 in the second.

Ashok Malhotra’s boys will really have to pull up their socks in order to stay in the equation for the semis. Noteworthy, Imran Haroon of JK was at the helm of touch in the second innings. The Kashmir lad scored an unbeaten 102 and saved the day for Jammu and Kashmir.
