Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee files her nomination for the Assembly elections today. She is contesting from the Bhowanipore Assembly constituency in Kolkata.
Till yesterday, she has addressed 45 rallies and conducted 11 roadshows in support of Trinamool candidates for the elections. Yesterday, she was in Raniganj and then in Pandabeswar, both in Bardhaman district, and then went to Chuadanga near Kharagpur.
At every rally, she has been speaking of the developmental work that her government has done over the last five years, and exhorting the people to vote her party back to power. She has also repeatedly asked the opposition parties to fight her politically, and refrain from slandering.
