Bengal Global Business Summit To Start On Tuesday

Kolkata: Bengal will host fourth edition of Bengal Global Business Summit at Biswa Bangla Convention Center at Newtown. It is two days program from 16th-17th January 2018. According to state administrative source, three hundred representatives from thirty countries will participate in this summit. Top industrialists across India will be present at the conference. Now it is to see how fruitful will be this summit for the prosperity of Bengal in global market.

Reportedly, Chief minister will announce number of infrastructural benefits for industrialists to influence the investments in Bengal. Public Land Bank will offer land directly to the industrialists. In this case, industrialists will get rid of acquisition of land.

The Summit will focus on the infrastructural issues of electricity, water and transportation. A Government official said, “The Amritsar-Kolkata industrial corridor is being developed, and the roads of the state are improved now. The 24-hour electricity and water supply is also there. To avoid the land accuisition part, government land bank will offer land to the industrialists. Consequently, government is expecting to receive more investments from this year.”

Administration is working hard to impress the top notch industrialists of the country. The entire city has been covered with Hoardings and Festoons of this summit. At the same time, security in Newtown area has been increased. According to a leader of the ruling party, “This industrial summit is certainly significant to the development of Bengal before the panchayat election. As a result, people of Bengal will rely more on the development program of Mamata Banerjee’s government. “
