Bengal Girl Rescued from Red Light Area in UP

Gaighata: Cracking whip on a human trafficking racket, West Bengal police in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh police, rescued a 14 year old girl from a red light area in Uttar Pradesh.

The girl a resident of Gaighata in 24 Pargana district of west Bengal got missing from April 23. A complaint had been lodged at Gaighata police station by her relatives later on April 25.

Police investigating the case arrested a lady from the same locality, who later confessed of selling the girl in UP.
