Bengal Assembly Polls: CU Exams Rescheduled

Kolkata: Calcutta University has rescheduled the exams due to the assembly polls. The third year honours exams of B.A, B.SC and B.Com dates have been pushed back by a day. According to the new, changed schedule, the exams would be conducted from 1st April to 13th April. Previously, it was scheduled to be held from 1st to 12th April.
When the election dates were announced by Election Commission, confusion erupted; many dates were allotted on the same day of exams of various universities. On Tuesday, university authority sat for a meeting; it was decided that exam dates would be changed. It is to be noted that votes would be held on 4th April and 11th April. The exams that clashed with those dates have been rescheduled to be held from 1st April to 13th April. Only the Sanskrit exam will be held on 3rd May, whereas exam of Environmental studies is slated for 25th May.
