New Delhi: Former IPS Officer Kiran Bedi will be nominated as the Chief Ministerial candidate of BJP in the upcoming Delhi legislative Assembly elections.
Senior BJP leader Anil Jain today confirmed that Kiran Bedi would be nominated as the Chief Ministerial candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.
Jain who is also a BJP core committee member handling Delhi polls said that party will not only project Bedi as the face of Delhi elections, but also nominate her as the CM candidate.
BJP is also set to finalize the list of Star campaigners for the upcoming polls. The Party has planned to hold over 200 rallies and Sabhas throughout the capital and PM Modi’s campaign would start immediately after January 26.
Sources said that BJP is doing away with its strategy of going faceless in the Assembly polls.
