Beating Korea on penalties, India secure Bronze


Ipoh: India ended their campaign in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup on positive note as they won bronze medal after beating Korea 4-1 on penalties in third-fourth place playoff match on Sunday.

The match went into the penalty shootout after both teams played out 2-2 draw after full time.

On Saturday, ​India produced their best performance of the tournament to stun world champions and title holders Australia 4-2.

India finished their league engagements with seven points from five game.
