Baruipur Central Correctional Home Will Be Inaugurated After Puja


Baruipur: Baruipur Central Correctional home will be inaugurated after Puja. The standing committee of the Legislative Assembly on Thursday reviewed the work of upgraded central correctional home at Baruipur.

Chairman of Standing Committee Tamonosh Ghosh, MLA Taposh Roy, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Biman Bandyopadhyay were also present at that time.

The members of the Standing Committee seek to find out how much work is done. They instructed the officials to quickly finish the works. The Central Correctional correctional home will be inaugurated after Puja. The prisoners from Alipore jail will be brought to Baruipur correctional home after Puja.

Chairman of the Standing Committee Tamonosh Ghosh said, “I asked the officials about a number of issues. Here are two thousand two hundreds prisoners being managed. It will be held in three parts of the prison. General prisoner, top prisoner, sensitive prisoner.

Keeping in mind the importance of recruiting adequate security is discussed. Jail Minister Ujjwal Biswas said, “All modern facilities will have in the Central Correctional home. There are eating houses, community hall, and many more. “
