Patna: The premises of a top college in Bihar capital Patna turned into a discotheque with bar girls performing vulgar dance on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on Monday (January 22). Videos of bar girl dancing on item numbers on stage put up inside Patna’s BN College have gone viral.
According to reports, a few students of the college had approached college administration for permission to host ‘jagran‘ on the occasion of Saraswati Puja on the night of January 22. The college management gave a go ahead.
However, the college witnessed a dance show instead of ‘jagran’. Videos of the event show a packed campus ground with girls in skimpy clothes dancing on vulgar Bhojpuri numbers. Shockingly, a few police jawans were also seen enjoying the event. When enquired about the issue, Vice Chancellor Ras Biharu Singh said he had no idea about a dance show being organised on the college campus. He said the students had come to him asking permission for ‘jagran‘ on Saraswati Puja.
“When I asked the students what event they are going to organise they told me that a ‘jagran‘ would be held. But now it is being reported that a dance event was held. This won’t be tolerated. I have asked the principal for a report. Strict action will be taken,” Singh said.
