The State Bank of Mysore has released an employment notification, inviting eligible candidates to fill up vacant positions of Counsellors to manage financial literacy centres at the centres as per annexure.
Persons residing/belonging to Karnataka and having fluency in writing, reading and speaking Kannada language will be given preference.

The candidates applying for thispost should be a graduate with knowledge of practical banking for at least 15 years/Ex-Servicemen and candidates who have worked in NGOs who have got the flare to work/visit villages. Knowledge of Kannada and use of computer is essential.
Retired Officers of any PSB/SB Group not below MMGS-II, Ex-Servicemen, candidates who have the experience of having worked in any NGOs, Gruadates in Rural Development/ BSW/MSW etc., who have flare to visit villages and mingle with village folk.
The maximum age of the candidates applying for this post must not exceed 62 years.
An interview will be conducted to shortlist candidates.
The selected candidate would be getting a remuneration of Rs 12,000 per month plus Rs 2000 towards conveyance and Rs 500 towards mobile charges i.e., total Rs 14,500 per month.
