Bangladeshi Terror Suspect Arrested in Malda

Malda: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday night nabbed a Bangladeshi national suspected to be part of a militant outfit from West Bengal’s Malda district.

22-years-old Abdul Hamid, a resident of Nawabganj in Bangladesh was apprehended after his position was compromised during a NIA interrogation of another suspect Selim Malick.

The BSF launched a search to nab Halim and were finally able to nab him near the India-Bangladesh border under Baishnabnagar police station in Shobapur outpost on the Indian side.
