Bangladesh PM Declares 2 Days Of National Mourning


Dhaka: The government today announced two-day state mourning in memory of the persons who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in a Gulshan restaurant last night.

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina declared the decision of the government in her address to the nation this evening.

The state mourning will be observed on 3 and 4 July.

The national flag will be hoisted at half-mast, people will wear black badges and prayers will be offered in mosques, temples, churches and all other places of worship on the days.
