Balwant fit, Mohun Bagan raring to go against Lajong


Kolkata: Mohun Bagan is all set to face Shillong Lajong in their next I League tie on Wednesday. The match will be held at Barasat stadium on Wednesday. Being unbeaten in ten matches, Sanjoy Sen’s boys will be charged up to continue their unbeaten run in the I League. Although, the Haitian forward, Sony Norde has picked up an injury but the team management is hopeful that Sony will play in Wednesday’s match. Balwant is also firt to play against Lajong FC, says Sanjoy Sen.

In connection to the red card issues, even when Sanjoy Sen wanted the club officials to show cause Bikramjit Singh and Shenaz Singh, the authorities have decided against it. As the team is in contention of winning the I League, the Bagan officials did not want to be stern with the players.

On the other hand, Lajong FC who is at the moment fighting relegation will give their all out at Barasat against Mohun Bagan. Sanjoy will not let complacency take the better of his team,as per reports. Bagan will give their best to salvage three points from the Lajong tie.
