Bagri Owners Wanted To Use Market Land For Real-Estate Purpose


Kolkata: Are the owners wanted to build a high rise in the spot ? The Bagri owners wanted to handover the land for promoting ? Several mind-boggling questions are roaming around after Bagri market fire incident.

The local business people has said that, “the owners were very highly interested on promoting. They did not have a good relation with those who were there on rent.”

The owners have charged extra paying late rent payment. Karna Kothari, one of the owner used to charge 13 rupee 60 paisa instead of 11 rupees 60 paisa as power consumption charge.

But the questions are rising over the whereabouts of the Bagri market owners. Where are Radha Bagri, Lakhsmi Bagri and Karna Kothari ? It is being alleged that they have fled to London. The police have started an investigation. On the other hand, the government has instructed the police to find out the owners within two days.

No trace of these people after Bagri market fire. The entire accident is an outcome of a conspiracy. The urban development minister Firhad Hakim has visited the spot on Monday afternoon and assured that owners will be arrested soon. Police investigating the matter.

Who are the owners? Asutosh Singh informs, “Srimati Radha Bagree, Varun Bagree and
Monhanlal Bagree are the direct owners of the market. But did not see their faces
in the past one year. Associates are there, but that is their internal matter.
These three are the most important. But no one came after the fire broke out. I am
hearing now that they have fled.”

Many businessmen of the market said that these three have fled to London on Sunday
night. Every businessmen said that letters were submitted to the owners several
times, but none came. It is also being alleged that though fire alarms were
installed, but they were kept shut. Sand-filled buckets were thrown too. There is
no water in the reserve tank since many days as the pump is malfunctioning.
