Babul’s Controversial Tweet On The ‘Communal Clash’ In Baduriya


Kolkata: Union Minister Babul Supriyo has found a similarity between the conflict that took place in Baduriya and Dhulagarh. He has also requested the national media to put a notice on the incidents that took place in Baduriya .

Baduriya, a small area of Basirhat in North 24 Paraganas district had turned into a battlefield following a fresh communal clash started there in the early hours of Monday. The reason behind the clash was a Facebook post that have hurt the sentiments of a specific community. A vast area across Baduriya was affected, shops were vandalized and three police vans were set ablaze.About 30 km road adjacent to Baduriya stands blocked.

Now, Babul Supriya, BJP MP from Asansol has urged the national media to deliver the news of Baduria clash. On Tuesday through his tweet he has requested the national media to take a note of the incident taking place in Baduriya.

Earlier, in December 2016 a similar incident took place in Dulagarh of Howrah district.Curfew was imposed for a long time in Dhulagarh . In the administrative meeting of Howrah district, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee complained this to the local legislator. The national media have also broadcasted the news .
