Kolkata: BJP leader and singer Babul Supriyo lashed out at the ruling Trinamool government while addressing a public gathering at South Kolkata on Wednsday. He said that a section of police have converted to TMC’s crack unit, and a reign of terror has been unleashed by the Mamata government prior the polls with attacks mounting on opposition party workers and leaders alike. He said that with the ongoing violence within the state on BJP, it is not possible for BJP to do well in the upcoming KMC polls. But that does not mean BJP will be effaced from the political scenario of West Bengal. He quoted King Khan’s Baazigar’s famous dialogue, ” Haar kle bhi jitne walonm ko Baazigaar kehte hai” and said that even if BJP does not feature well in this poll, they will surely make their mark in the near future.
Babul condemned the Trinamool assault on Roopa Ganguly on Tuesday. BJP, on wednesday is out in the road holding a massive bike rally to protest the attack on Roopa ganguly. The rally has been headed by Roopa Ganguly herself and many key BJP leaders like Rahul Sinha and Babul Supriyo too attended the rally.
