ATK brings La Liga flavour by signing two more Spanish players

Kolkata: The champions of inaugural edition of Indian Super League, Atlético de Kolkata announced today, that the team has signed left wing midfielder Jaime Gavilán Martínez who plays for Platanias FC and centre back José Luis Espinosa Arroyo popularly known as Tiri, and has been trained at Atlético de Madrid Academy. After the announcement of signing Iain Edward Hume and retaining three international recruits Josemi, Borja Fernandez and Oftense Nato for this season now the two more Spanish footballers will add to the strength of the team. Antonio Lopez Habas, the head coach of Atlético de Kolkata said, “Both Jaime and Tiri have good experience playing in Spain. While Jaime has performed for a top division club like Levante and has extensive La Liga experience, I am also excited about young Tiri who can play in central defense and at left-back and can contribute to our game plan for the upcoming season.”
