Assam Rifles Convoy Ambushed In Arunachal, Jawan Killed


Itanagar: One Assam Rifle Jawan killed and 10 others injured in an ambush on the Indo-Myanmar border of Arunachal Pradesh.

One soldier of Assam Rifles was killed and 10 others injured after their convoy was ambushed in Khonsa on the Indo-Myanmar border on Saturday.

According to initial reports, the incident took place between 1:30-2 pm in the remote location near Khonsa. In the incident, two vehicles of Assam rifles were ambushed.

It is to be noted that the Khonsa area is a stronghold of the NSCN (K), however, it is yet not clear which group is involved in the incident.
