New Delhi: Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav has leveled serious allegation against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal saying that Kejriwal’s claim of being kept in dark over MLA Jitender Singh Tomar’s fake degree is false. He said that Kejriwal knew about Tomar’s fake degree but didn’t conduct an inquiry.
Yadav claimed, “We had informed Arvind Kejriwal about Jitender Singh Tomar’s fake degree in February. I am surprised. Now they are saying they were taken for a ride. Kejriwal did not even conduct an inquiry. We had raised issues about at least 25 candidates.”
A court on June 22 had dismissed Tomar’s bail plea saying that the allegations against him were of serious nature since he is a legislator.
Tomar had sought bail plea on grouds that he needs to attend the Delhi’s assembly sessions commencing from June 23.
