Arrest warrant issued against Five top bosses of Rosevalley


Kolkata: Arrest warrant has been issued against five directors of Rosevalley who have been named in the chargesheet filed by Enforcement Directorate. They have been asked to surrender before court within 9 April, failing which the Enforcement Directorate has been asked to arrest them. Rosevalley chief Gautam Kundu has already been arrested by the ED in connection with the muti crore Ponzi scam.

The chargesheet was filed by the Enforcement Directorate a few days back. Apart from Kundu, Managing Director of the organization Shivmoy Dutta and Development officer Arun Mukherjee has been named in the FIR. The names of two former directors of Rosevalley, Ramlal Goswami and Ashok Saha has been named in the FIR along with former Company Secretary B K Mullick. On Monday arrest warrant was issued against the five persons by the court.

On the other hand, a Rosevalley agent Pinaki Mukherjee committed suicide by consuming pesticides. He enrolled with Rosevalley since he didn’t get any way of income. He sold off his ancestral house and deposited 3.5 lakhs with the Rosevalley to win the trust of the investors. He used to remain tensed after the Saradha incident came to the limelight. His family has alleged that he was suffering from anxiety that he won’t get back his money and has consumed pesticides.
