Army Launches ‘Operation All Out’ Against NDFB (S)


Guwahati: Security forces have launched a massive combing operation across the Indo-Bhutan border in Assam’ Chirang area to nab dreaded NDFB (S) leaders B Bidai, Chimang and Batha.

As per reports after striking at NSCN (K) camps in Myanmar, forces have mobilized resources to neutralize the NDFB (S) ultras in Assam’s Chirang district adjacent to Bhutan border, from the last three days.

The operation has been dubbed as ‘Operation All-Out’ to clear the north eastern states of various militants groups backed by China. Officer Khagen Sharma of Assam police confirmed that a 35-40 membered group of NDFB (S) ultras moved deep inside the forests of Mathanguri in Assam-Bhutan border after a crackdown by security forces in Kokhrajhar area.

Army captured a NDFB (S) cadre Amin Raha from Chirang a day ago and seized arms and ammo. Vital information has been revealed by the militant to security forces. The crackdown on militants across Indo-Bhutan border is likely to escalate further. Security analysts have predicted that a Myanmar like hot pursuit may be in the coming.
