Army Jawans Fall From Chopper During Practice


New Delhi: Three jawans of the Indian Army were injured during a practice drill ahead of the Army Day on January 15 in the national capital.

The incident is said to have taken place on January 9, however, it was brought to notice only on Thursday.

The jawans were injured while they were descending from a helicopter with a rope when it broke down and all the three fell to the ground and sustained injuries.

The condition of all the three jawans is said to be out of danger. Meanwhile, the Army has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
