Jammu & Kashmir: Two lost their lives in a sudden crash of a Army Chopper. An army helicopter crashed in Bandipora district of Central Kashmir, on February 11. Killing a Major and a Lieutenant Colonel, who were piloting the chopper at that time.

The Dhruv helicopter of Army Aviation squadron based at Manasbal crashed about 30 minutes after it took off during an evening training session.

Army personnel says, radio telephonic contact was lost at 7.43 PM. when it crashed at a hill area at Bandipora.
