New York: Anupam Kher met Oscar winner Robert De Niro during his visit here and the Bollywood veteran says meeting the Hollywood star is always inspirational.
Kher has worked with De Niro, 73, in filmmaker David O Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook” (2012). The 61-year-old actor shared the picture of himself on Twitter along with De Niro, saying his meets with the “Taxi Driver” star always make him happy.
“Meeting legendary actor #RobertDeNiro in New York is always a highlight of my trip. Inspirational and Joyous. #JaiHo,” he wrote.
Kher will now head to Canada for the gala premiere of his forthcoming Hollywood film, “The Headhunters Calling”, at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. In another post he also unveiled his first look from “The Headhunters Calling”, which also stars Gerard Butler, Alison Brie and Willem Dafoe. “Happy to know that all tickets for the Gala Premiere of #TheHeadhuntersCalling at #TIFF16 are SOLD OUT. #MyFirstLook,” he tweeted.
