CM Mamata Asks For CID Investigation In BJP Worker’s Death Case


Purulia: Body of 32-year-old BJP worker, Dulal Kumar, found hanging by a pole in Dabha village of Purulia’s Balarampur on Saturday. BJP alleges TMC is behind the incident.

According to sources deceased Dulal went out for loo in the evening at 8pm, it is said he went riding in his bike. His family suspected something evil when he didnot return till 10pm in the night. Hence, they started to search him. His bike was found near a pond.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked the Crime Investigation Department (CID) to investigate the case.

As similar incident took place on Tuesday when 18 years old BJP activist Trilochon Mahato was missing from Tuesday night. Police recovered his hanging body from a tree. His family got information from the locals and informed the police. Fearing any foul play in Dulal’s missing his family took the help of the Balarampur police.

After long search by the Balarampur, Bagmundi and Arshi police his body was also found in the same condition like Trilochon’s. Dulal’s body was found in a shocking situation hanging on a Basitar high tension electric tower on Saturday 6pm.

BJP alleges TMC is behind the incident. BJP district president Bidyasagar Chakraborty climed TMC is behind this incident.

“Strongly condemn this despicable act. All angles must be probed. Perpetrators of the heinous act must be punished, let truth be found by investigation,” says Derek O’ Brien.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee reached Purulia on Friday night for his rally that is going to be held on Saturday. He is also TMC observer of Purulia.
