Ankit’s family files FIR against Private Hospital


Kolkata: The family members of Ankit Keshri has lodged an FIR at the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station bringing in charges against the Nightingale hospitals form where the budding East Bengal talent breathed his last. According to close sources, the family members first wanted to lodge an FIR at the Bidhannagar Police station under which the famous AMRI comes. But it is learnt that, the Bidhannagar police station did not take any written complaint. Hence, the family members went to he Shakespeare Sarani police station to lodge the FIR under which the Nightingale hospitals appear.

According to the family members, there were certain negligence in the hospital and the treatment due to which Ankit lost his battle and succomed to death. In a tragic incident  Ankit died at a private hospital in Kolkata on April 20, after he got severely injured during a match. He had been first taken to AMRI and later was transferred to Nightingale hospitals where he died. been under treatment in the hospital for the last three days. He was injured during a match between East Bengal and Bhawanipur while trying to grab a catch.
